Homestuck Advent Calendar 2014 Info and Sign Up

Hello fabulous homestuck artists~! Starting now, you can sign up for the 2014 Homestuck Advent Calendar. This is the third annual HS Advent Calendar I've hosted, and it will proceed similarly to the past two. However, regardless of if you're new to participating in this event, PLEASE CAREFULLY READ THE ENTIRE JOURNAL BEFORE SIGNING UP. Detailed information about the calendar is as follows:

Every day of December leading up to Christmas (Dec 1st - Dec 25th) one person who signed up to participate in the advent calendar will post a deviation for the calendar. Deviations for the calendar may be any type of Homestuck art, so long as it falls under PG-13 parameters (so basically, anything that wouldn't need to be flagged as mature content) and they must be related to winter and/or winter holidays. You must put your best effort into your submission, because we want to feature the very best art. Artists of any skill level are welcome, so long as they do their best with whatever deviation they choose to submit. Here are some examples of what's been submitted in past advent calendars:

 
 

So in this way, we have one person posting a deviation for the calendar each day. Starting December 1st, I'll be keeping a journal on my page that has links to each new deviation for the calendar, which will make it easy for everyone to see all the new art as it's posted. Also, I'll be keeping a Tumblr blog of all the art as well, which will update daily.

Here's what exactly you're signing up for if you choose to participate in the advent calendar:

• After having read this entire journal, comment on the journal that you'd like to sign up.
• Once we get 25 people signed up (one for each day of December until Christmas), I'll post another journal which will tell you what your upload date is. Your upload date is the date in December that you are to post your deviation for the calendar on Deviantart. No sooner, and no later. You must do your absolute best to get your art posted ON the day you are assigned.
• Starting on the first of December, I'll post the journal which will feature all submissions to the calendar. The journal will be updated every day with each new deviation being posted. The advent calendar tumblr blog will be kept up to date in the same way. If you are against having your art posted on tumblr, or would rather you post it on tumblr than me, please let me know, and we'll work something out. Note that if I do post your deviation on tumblr, full credit will be given to you, along with a link back to your Deviantart page, along with the deviation's page.
